One thing that I love about January 1st is that it signifies not only a new year but a fresh start and a new opportunity to look forward to new things and what God wants to do in and through us this year.
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Phil. 3:13-14

The best gift you can give and receive is to leave the past behind and MOVE ON. There is renewed hope for the future when you do this. And it is a Christmas and New Year’s gift to YOURSELF and OTHERS - and its one that keeps on giving. When my husband’s business failed and it left us with many year’s of debt ahead of us, I blamed him for not being able to run the business successfully. When I forgave him through prayer and decided to look to the future and accept the past, life has been so full of opportunities. It’s hard…but try it…it works! God Bless you!
