Inflow~outflow is the blog site for The Church Upcounty, a new church in Upper Montgomery County, MD. Our purpose as a church is love God, love people and the rest will follow. Inflow~outflow is a blog about experiencing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and also passing it on to others. A pond or lake will become stagnant if there’s no flow of fresh water into and out of it. It’s the same thing with our lives as Christians. We need the inflow of an intimate relationship with God. Then, the outflow from our lives is sharing, serving and caring for others.

If we just take in whatever God has for us and hold onto it, then we become stagnant and never fully realize all that God has for us. God wants us to give it away to others - to serve, love and care for people. To be fully human and fully alive means making three ongoing connections in this life: connect with God, connect with others and care for people.
