Caring for people starts with the heart. What’s our motivation when it comes to caring for people? If love others or care for them out of a sense of duty, it can across as fake and inauthentic. God wants our motivation to be out of love for him and for others (Gal 5:6). When we experience God’s love in our own lives, loving others happens freely and naturally.

Yesterday was a great time to just out in the community connecting with people. A kind word or deed goes a long way. As a church, I hope that we can be known for our kindness and compassion. It’s so needed.
